Peggy began her career in the veterinary field in sunny Southern California in 2002. The opportunity to pursue her life long dream came about as she was attending The Brooks Institute of Photography where she was studying Film and Television Production. When she was not producing independent films in remote locations she was a vital part of a dedicated team caring for beloved pets of all sizes. She knows she is truly fortunate to have been able to pursue both her life’s passions at once. With her return to her hometown of Houston, TX in 2010, she can boastfully say that with her rewarding career now with the VitalPet Family, two children (Dylan 5, Sophia 2), husband Zoap, a cat named Maya and dachshund mix named Mickey she has it all!
Kat grew up locally in Splendora, TX and received her Bachelors degree in Behavior Analysis from the University or North Texas. Kat has been a vet tech for over 10 years and has enjoyed every minute of it. She grew up showing dogs, mostly Australian Sheperds, in conformation, agility, and flyball. Kat's husband is also a vet tech and they met at work. They now have a 4 month old daughter. Kat has 4 dogs, Bailey an Irish Wolfhound, Maggie a Lab, Sasha a Cocker Spaniel, and Porter an Aussie. She hopes that her daughter grows up to love animals as much as her parents do.
Ragin really enjoys watching college sports, and is involved in his church youth group.
