Dr. Andy Otto

Dr. Andy Otto was born in New Jersey and moved to Texas at a young age. He received a BA in English/Writing from the University of Oklahoma and graduated cum laude from Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  Dr. Otto has a special interest in internal medicine, especially cardiology, oncology, and kidney disease, for which he received an ACVIM award his senior year. He and his wife, Emily, have one dog Brooklyn, an Australian shepherd, and two cats Robin Hood, a Somali, and Coco, a Birman.  In his free time, Dr. Otto follows the Yankees and OU football. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, staying in shape and playing on his BBQ pit.


Dr. Bridget Neal

Dr. Neal grew up in Southeast Texas. At an early age she felt sure that working with animals would be part of her life and career.  Her passion and determination never wavered.  She is a proud member of the Texas A&M Class of 2000!  She majored in Biomedical Science and was awarded a bachelor’s degree during her first year of veterinary school.  In June 2003, she graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine with her doctorate.  The loves of her life are her husband Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters, Hailey and Addy.  She enjoys spending quality time with her two dogs and two cats.
Dr. Neal’s special interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and endoscopy.  She is a member of AVMA, TVMA, VIN, American Animal Hospital Association and Harris County VMA.


Dr. Dawn Metzger

Dr. Dawn Metzger graduated in 1975 from Colorado State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.  In Denver, she built and owned an esteemed practice for the community of Denver.  She has recently sold that practice in order to move to Texas and get away from the cold weather.  She is greatly enjoying both the weather and the people of Texas so far.  She is currently working as a part time associate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Eastex Veterinary Clinic in Humble and sees dogs and cats.  In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, walking, gardening, and driving her convertible around town to visit area sites.  She owns two dachshunds and a poodle mix who think that they own her!

Dr. James Kelly has been a partner and clinic director with Eastex Veterinary Clinic, and a resident of Humble / Kingwood since July 1978. He and his wife Maudine have 2 wonderful children, Kevin in Houston and Stacy in Dallas. They also share the love of 1 very beautiful grandchild. Ginger, Dr Kelly’s miniature longhaired Dachshund keeps him company when he is reading and experimenting with photography in his spare time.


Dr. Marc I. Zieben

Dr. Zieben is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been providing quality veterinary services for the San Antonio area for over 24 years. He is married with two children, Jacob and Sarah. He has several pets of his own, a chocolate lab, two cats, as well as a turtle, 2 gerbils, a ball python snake and a tarantula.


Dr. Michaele Oberbroeckling

Dr. Oberbroeckling grew up in Des Moines, Iowa.  She received her B.S. in Distributed Studies (Business, Psychology, and Zoology) from Iowa State University in 1990. She graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.  She and her husband moved to Kingwood in 1995 and she has been an associate with us since 1995. Dr. Oberbroeckling has a special interest in oncology. She has two daughters, two cats, and a pug.


Dr. Michele Wright

Dr. Michele Wright received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2010 and her Bachelors in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M in 2006.  She is and always will be the proudest member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2006! Whoop!

Dr. Wright grew up in Helotes, Texas as the daughter of two veterinarians.  Keeping with the family tradition, she married a fellow classmate who is an equine veterinarian, and after graduation they came back to her hometown.

Her favorite past time activities include going to Aggie football games, scrap booking and event planning, including weddings.  Dr. Wright enjoys riding her Arabian horses and learning reining on her husband’s Quarter horse.  She has two beautiful kitties, Jasmine and Ariel, as well as a boisterous and smart Golden Retriever named Beamer.


Dr. Mira Rogers

Dr. Mira Rogers graduated from TAMU in 1997 (WHOOP!). She has a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh.  Her special interest includes acupuncture, ultrasonography, internal medicine, and dentistry. (Let’s face it, she just enjoys the heck out of veterinary medicine!)

Dr. Rogers joined Eastex Veterinary Group in February 2000, starting out at Kings Crossing Animal Hospital.  She is currently at our All Community Animal Hospital in Porter.  She has 1 child Griffin (he has her eyes and 4 legs).  For as long as she’s been a veterinarian he has come with her to work every day.  When she is not practicing her first love she enjoys hiking, biking and the great outdoors.


Dr. Morgan Baskin

Dr. Baskin grew up in Plano, Texas and Miami, Florida.  She received her B.S. in Animal and Dairy Science in 1998, her M.S. in zoological studies in 1999 and D.V.M. in 2003 from Auburn University.  She spent her first two years as a veterinarian in Victoria, Texas where she practiced small animal and emergency medicine.  She then got married and decided to take a job with more traditional hours at Neartown Animal Clinic in the Downtown/Montrose area of Houston.

Dr. Baskin recently had her first child and she and her husband decided to move to the more family friendly area of Humble, Texas.  Dr. Baskin has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine.  She has two rescue dogs, Lucy, a beagle mix, and Shiner, a Doberman mix.


Dr. Rachel Klett

Dr. Rachel Klett graduated in 2003 with a BS in Biomedical Science and in 2007 she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University.  She grew up in Huntsville, TX and currently resides in Livingston.  She works full time Monday through Wednesday and Fridays at Eastex Veterinary Clinic in Humble and sees an array of animals including dogs, cats, small animals, and birds.  In her spare time she enjoys keeping up with her favorite sports teams; the Houston Rockets, Houston Astros, and all Aggie sports.  She also enjoys her time outside, the arts, bowling, and movies.  She owns six dogs that also keep her busy throughout the week.


Dr. Stephanie Johnson

Dr. Johnson graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has been an associate with us since her graduation.  Dr. Johnson has a special interest in orthopedic and general surgery.


Dr. Warren Resell

Dr. Resell graduated from Oklahoma State University with his DVM in 1978. He moved to Houston that same year and began practicing veterinary medicine with the Eastex Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Resell and his wife are both from small-town North Dakota and he comes from a long line of animal lovers. In his one-year-old baby picture, a baby-faced Dr. Resell can be seen hugging his beloved cocker spaniel Sandy. As a toddler, it was not uncommon for his parents to drive him to the edge of town to let him, literally, count sheep. “I have always, always loved animals and I still do,” he said. “It is so rewarding and satisfying. I still enjoy it as much as I did on my first day in practice.”


Dr. Willie Janik

Dr. Willie Janik is a 1968 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. He spent 2 years with the U.S. Army involved in laboratory animal medicine. From 1970 to 1980 he worked in general practice in Dallas and Albuquerque. Dr Janik’s interests include internal medicine and surgery on dogs and cats; special interests include eye diseases, corneal surgery, and primate care. He is married with 4 children and 7 grandchildren plus 8 grand-dogs & 1 grand-cat. In Dr Janik’s free time he follows the stock market, trades stocks & options, and collects coins.
